I was so intrigued with the Megalong Valley that it inspired two paintings. It was like a secret, hidden place just for me to discover.
Twin Peaks, is one of two paintings that take place in the Megalong Valley of the Blue Mountains. It depicts the breathtaking scale of the valley on a brilliant, bright sunny day. In the foreground, structured rows of majestic gums stand in front of the iconic silhouettes that anchoring the painting. Behind them, two towering peaks rise against the horizon.
The sky comes alive with subtle, drifting clouds infused with gentle hints of pink and yellow. These warm, pastel hues sweep downward, beautifully reflecting across the undulating pastures and sandstone textures of the landscape below.

This is the largest of the Mistscapes collection, A Perfect Moment in Time, captures the moment in time between twilight and sunrise. I love this time. It’s perfectly quiet, the birds are just starting to wake, drops of dew drip off moisture laden gum leaves and ferns that live on the rock faces of Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains. If you close your eyes and are still, you can feel the cold breath of the falls below on your face as wisps of mist swirl across the rocks.

Inspired by the sandstone walls of Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains, Living on a Ledge is a close look at the incredible gum trees and undergrowth that seem to be able to live in thin air. The Blue Mountains are an unending inspiration that fuels my love of the Australian landscape.

An original, acrylic painting on stretched canvas. “A Storm is coming” is the first in a series of Stormscapes.
Inspired by the lush green hinterland of the Northern Rivers of NSW, this painting captures an approaching storm that fills the sky with large clouds and dabbled light on the hills below. A beautiful soft mist is rolling in the distance giving the painting a surreal and moody feeling.
A wonderful addition to your art collection or a beautiful gift - this painting is perfect for any nature lover.

This acrylic painting brings a lovely, moody piece of Sydney Harbour right into your room. It features the historic Grotto Point Lighthouse, surrounded by soft blue sky and deep blue water that are true to being on Sydney Harbour.
The Lighthouse is fondly nicknamed the "Disney Castle" because of its distinct, fairytale-like white domed structure and enclosed picket fence.
The sky is filled with fluffy, overcast clouds, and the water underneath is choppy and full of life. The large rocky outcrop the Lighthouse sits on dominates the painting and draws your eye to the structure. You can almost feel the fresh sea breeze just by looking at it. Right in the middle is the cute, bright white lighthouse itself. Because of its unique shape, it looks a bit like a tiny castle standing strong against the restless waves.
It is a beautiful, peaceful little painting that perfectly captures a classic, cloudy day by the ocean.

When I painted this, I wanted to bottle up the exact feeling of a magical camping stopover I had out west. If you know my work from the Megalong Valley—which feels enclosed, dramatic, with steep escarpments—the Capertree Valley (located on the western edge of the Blue Mountains region) is a completely different world. Famous as one of the widest canyon systems anywhere, Capertree isn't about tight spaces; it’s about massive, breathing horizons and endless sky.
Even though I called this piece "Alone", it’s a celebration of happy, restorative solitude rather than loneliness. I painted it on a brilliant, bright sunny day when the light made everything feel golden, crisp, and alive. The single peak stands proud, wrapped in a quiet, rural calmness with its classic farm fencing framing the flat valley floor below.
It’s a bright, cheerful piece that I hope brings the warm, expansive breath of the western bush right into your living space.
